The Great Season Apology

The Great Season Apology

To our ski friends: we’re sorry. Montana winter didn’t really commit this year.

To our pasture: congratulations. The mild temps have made for an earlier, gentler transition—less deep-freeze stress, more days where the ground can breathe and the sun can do its thing.

To our alpacas: they’re acting like they planned it. You’ll catch them taking sunshine naps, working through the hay (because yes—hay first, always), and then doing that slow, serious pasture scan like the next step is a surprise salad bar.

It’s fun to watch, but we’re keeping routines steady because early warmth doesn’t instantly mean safe spring grazing.
